I’ve upgraded to EZ Drummer 2 now and it was a piece of cake. Perfect and seamless. Installed the upgrades and I am blown away with the new version. EZD2 is worth every penny. I would actually pay full price for this, forget about the discount. It is THAT good. If you are in any doubt, go watch the tutorial:

Thumbs up! Best drum software on the planet. m/
For anyone who may have been following this and also wanted to know, below is the reply I received from Toontrack Support:
All settings from your old EZdrummer 1 sessions will work and sound exactly the same if you upgrade to EZDrummer 2. All settings are migrated to the new version.
When you install EZDrummer 2 it will completely replace your EZDrummer 1.
The upgrade process is straight forward. Simply purchase the Upgrade, download and install. Then make sure to install any updates and the Pop Rock EZX that comes free with the upgrade.
The Pop Rock EZX is the upgraded EZDrummer 2 version of the Core library that came with EZdrummer version 1.
Once all of these steps have been completed you will be able to open your old projects seamlessly.
Why would you want to downgrade anyway? Isn’t EZD2 a step up, or did you lose something in the upgrade?
