You are not going to believe this but I found out how to make the keyboard work. When I pull up the “MIDI Devices” menu in the stand alone version there are three listings:
    1. IAC Bus 1
    2. blank with checkbox
    3. blank with checkbox

It occured to me that there are two assignments for the Motor 61, one port for MIDI notes and one for Transport control.

So I thought, maybe the two blank ones are the Motor 61…so I checked both of them and Boom Shankar, it worked and SD3 started accepting MIDI from my Motor 61.

Well there is one bug up for consideration in the next revision of SD3.

I am using a Behringer Motor 61 and I cannot get it to show up in “MIDI Devices” in the standalone version of SD3, even though it exists in the AudioMIDI page and the keyboard works fine with Digital Performer. I just updated SD3 so hopefully it won’t crash when implemented in the Drum Editor in DP9.5 like it has been. I will try to see if the results are different with the in app version and report back. P.S. Rescan Devices doesn’t help either and the Motor 61 is not sending MIDI info when using the Learn function either. I am connected to my MacBook Pro using the USB A out on the Motor 61 to an USB 3.0 hub on the Mac.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
