Thanks for the positive feedback. Unfortunately there are no current plans to release the extra sounds. For clarity all the drums in the released version of the Hitmaker SDX are recorded to tape.
There were new percussion instruments, both future hits and one shots, recorded for EZdrummer 3. These new instruments were included in Superior Drummer 3 in an update.
The issues reported by the original poster have been fixed for some time. You need to select ‘E-drum Optimised’ in MIDI in/E-drum settings for the most natural performance or ‘Note Triggered Transitions’ if you want to completely turn off transitions with pedal movement alone.
