Rimshots on the snare and postitonal sensing on the ride have been supported for quite a while. Positional sensing using the VH-14D is now supported with the Roland TD-50X preset.

Hi,

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to trigger brush drags and swirls in the traditional way with e-drums and Superior Drummer 3.

Hi, I just double-checked and everything is working as intended with the VH-14 in Superior Drummer 3.2.8. At default the VH-14 and TD-50x output CC4 between 0 and 127 so calibration is not required. The different Openness Transitions are all working as expected. The Openness presets will move the dots but Openness Transitions (which affects the way the engine behaves) do not.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. The Marble Room is very reflective so the sound reaching the stereo mics is very lively and not 100% predictable with regard to directionality. Consequently the variation would be expected and would not be considered a bug.
