    No problem Scott!

I just started tracking my first solo album and this is probably going to be one of the songs on it.
I’m super excited with the drum tones i have been getting!

I think it would be really cool for Toontrack to do something like an Ethnic Drums SDX

Something kinda similar to StormDrum 2.

Pretty cool stuff you have here! I like the progressions you have going on!

What do you use for the piano parts?

Sorry it took so long to get this Axe Fx patch up here.

    Here it is!
PS – I used a Redwirez IR: Marshall 4X12 cab with V30s and SM57 mic CapEdge 5 in.

Cool video and a cool song!
All the shots were cool! I really liked how you could see everything being done on drums and the shots down the neck of the guitar!

    Good stuff!!!

    ORIGINAL: WaterBoy

That’s kewl. It reminds me of a TV show or something.
You should consider getting a publisher or something like that – you never know who might dig it and want it for some huge sitcom thingy.
Thanks for letting us hear it!

    Scott

    TV show….i totally agree!!!!
    Sounded good!

    Thanks mix2much!
Everything here is all Superior 2.0 Avatar except the splash cymbals are from The Metal Foundry.
I used the Ludwig Black Beauty snare on this one.
The Kick: I used the Kick Out mic as the dominant of the three. I cut around 350, 800, and boosted around 7000 and 7500 Hz.
I compressed this a bit with Voxformer, and used a bit of MixSaturator on it as well.
The Kick in mic i cut around 3800-4200, and high passed it at around 200. The Kick Sub i Lo passed at around 400-500
On all the Kick mics i used a bit of transient designer cutting the sustain, but boosting the attack a bit.

The snare: I boosted around 150-240 for the bass tone of the snare on the SnareTop mic. I cut a lot at 600 and 800 and
boost at around 8000. For the Snarebottom and SnareFX i mainly just cut at around 600 and 800.

    Many thanks! Sure thing!
I used 2.0, but just load DFH in that. I used the Sonor Kick, Pearl Birch Snare, all Premier toms.
The only processing i used within 2.0 was to high pass the hats and the OH at around 600 hz.
I also gave all the toms a slight boost around 115, 9K and a slight cut at around 350. All the rest
of the processing i did within cubase. Mainly just eq and compression. If there is anything else i forgot
to answer let me know and i will be happy to explain. Many thanks again!

Waterboy: I still haven’t forgot about that preset haha! I’ll try to get it posted sometime this week.
I will say that i used a Redwirez IR. It was the Marshall 4X12 Vintage 30s with SM57 mic Cap Edge 5 in.
