How about shft click, alt click, or ctrl click to swap between select and scissors tools, then?

Well, the drag and drop copy bug is intermittent and not happening now – maybe I had a bad day…

Any news on quick keys? How about a keyboard key to change mouse pointer behaviour between select and scissor tools?
