I’m experiencing this issue as well. Attempted to attach event file as mentioned above. Thx

Thanks! If you double click the file you attached and look at in event viewer, you can se that it links to some other files, WER67.tmp.dmp for example. If those files still exists, please zip them together and attach them here.

Hi Joey! We’d be glad if you could do some tests for us.
If you clear the search browser and drag the topmost groove to Sonar, and then back to the song track, does that work?
If not, what happens if you drag that file from Sonar to the desktop, and then into Superior?
If that doesn’t work either, try dragging from Superior directly to your desktop, and then back, does that work?
If not, try running Superior stand alone and drag to the desktop and back, does that work?

But i meant using the sidebar “MIDI mapping tab” selecting Tom 2 in the GUI, clicking “learn” in the sidebar tab and hitting Tom 2 on the kit does nothing.. Every other kitpiece can be learned this way, but not Tom 2.. This note is for some reason tied to Floortom 1 per default and this doesn’t change if it’s not edited manually.. and when doing so i ran into another peculiar thing that led me to believe the Drumbrain was broken… Midi note “45” ( the converted note – not the note sent from the drumbrain) disappeared..

Hi Magnus. I think we need some more information to help you here.
    Which library are you using?
Which tom do you select in the gui? Tom 2, is that Racktom 2, or Floortom 2?
Which note are you trying to map/learn to Tom 2?
If you turn your e-drum mappings off in SD3, can you map/learn Tom 2?
What does the MIDI Monitor say when you hit your Tom2 on your e-kit?

    Thanks in advance!

Ok, if you get no crash log from the application itself you need to do this:

    1. Click on the magnifying glass in the lower left corner.
    2. Type ‘event viewer’ and click on it
    3. In the upper left corner of the event viewer, fold out the folder called ‘Windows Logs’ and select ‘Applications’
    4. Find your Superior Drummer 3 error in the main list (each crash should generate an item)
    5. Select the item and on the right side click ‘Save Selected Events…’
    6. Save as Event File
    7. Attach the saved file to a post here. Done 🙂

We have found the bug, and a fix will be included in the next release (3.0.3).
If one wants to be technical it is the Macdrive software that does not support the Windows function ReOpenFile.

We would very much like you to send us the contents of your errlog.doc file. It is located in %ProgramData%ToontrackSuperior3 (this path can be pasted in the address field of an Explorer window).
