Thanks. This was not very obvious to me, as I’m not used to aftertouch being relevant to my process with sequencing drums, but I welcome the control that this offers.
For the benefit of anyone who may come at this similarly uninformed:
This was, in fact, the solution to the problem, and it was a matter of knowing what to look for. You just need to find the aftertouch lane, and you can delete any instance where it’s causing sounds to misbehave. Cymbals ring as intended. Good to have the option of a choke.
Can I ask how you found it/fixed it? I’m having this same problem. Very new to this Toontrack interface and trying to give it a shot, instead of the sequencer on Cubase.
