Cheers Olof. I did what is described above and it worked a treat. Weird how that info doesn’t appear anywhere in the manual…maybe it’s just obvious and I was too clueless to work it out.
Hopefully Bruce McDonald reads the replies above and solves his similar problem. It was driving me insane not being able to figure it. Thanks again
So all i have to do is cut/paste the default EDX folder in C drive (EZDrums… or whatever it’s called) to D drive, close and reopen SD3, and the additional libraries path button will become active? I can then click on the additional libraries path and tell it to find my EDX files on D drive?
Why can’t you just do that from within SD3 like you can with the SD3 sound libraries I wonder?
I’ve been losing my mind trying to google how to change the additional libraries path. I was going to have a crack at creating a symbolic link between two drives out of desperation just to get around the problem…but if what I’ve described above works, that would be awesome.
Please tell me that’s how we move the EDX libraries to another location/drive.
I’m having the same problem and can’t find an answer anywhere online. My C drive is full and I need to move 30G of EZX files to another drive.
