Thanks for the replies, guys. Yes, the volume peaks are what I mean. The drums aren’t twice as loud as everything else but the volume peaks are. Before posting, I had already put a limiter on the drums but that didn’t really help. Just got lower volume. I’m not that familiar with limiters so I will play around with it. This, for me, is a real problem.

Oh, will also play around with the randomize feature as the kick and snare, at times, seem to be come out of left field and get obviously loud.

Well, I figured out you have to use a different channel for each EZD pattern. I was hoping you could have only one channel and add each new pattern into that but I guess not. Anyone have a better solution? It would be nice to just drag each pattern to the timeline but it doesn’t work that way I guess.
