    OK guys problem solved –

I stuck IM on and it worked.

With Logic Pro, you do not need to do that and I just assumed it was some sort of routing issue.

PT is not very intuitive to be honest. I only want to use it sparingly.

Every day is a school day – many thanks for all your input and feedback it was greatly appreciated!

Forums are such a fountain of knowledge when you are stuck!

Hi, many thanks for the replies! Still not working I am afraid…

I have doubled checked everything and it’s still not playing through PT.

SD3 is is working as a standalone and it also works seamlessly with LP

I have made a small vid that clearly show what is happening. However, I cannot upload other here.

Is there a way of showing anyone this vid on here? It may just crack the code if someone see it?

    Hi Scott, yes there was!

And it now seem to sorted in that area! Many thanks!

To be honest I did not know about this drop down (still on a learning curve here)

Can you please explain why this would have happened so I understand what I can look out for in the future?

    Hi Scott,

Still a bit confused with this issue (even looking at the manual which is not always user friendly)!

I have attached a screenshot. The seven HH midi notes should all be Open Edge 4. However when hits 5-7 are hit they sound as a tight tip position. Can you please describe how you would change this to revert them all to the Open Edge 4 midi note?

I have tried to move them to the Open 4 position but that’s obviously not the correct method.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi, again a newbie here.

I want to physically print a midi map (i.e. midi notes) of my drum part I recorded in SD3 for a friend. Is this possible? Not sure where to look.

    Hi Jord,

No I dont have file vault enabled.

I have upgraded to 3.1.7 today so I will see if that helps.

I must admit that a combination of Catalina, Logic and SD3 isn’t the best combination just now (could be bugs still in Catalina) and I always think that something will crash at any time….

I will feedback how I get on with this upgrade. Thanks for the feedback Jord!
