I use my snare and another trigger. The snare produces the snare and rimshot. The 2nd trigger I use as a separate crossstick

John I would like to put in a request. Many of us are using SD3 in a live environment. We’re having to deal with inflexible interface channels and stereo outs.  I need to be able to assign all bass drums to one interface channel, all snares to another and so on. Putting left and right panning into the equation puts 2 instruments on one fader. How come i cant go right from the internal mixer to another out bound mixer straight up…I’ve been reading this same from many..

I am having issues as well. I have SD3 installed on a Macbook running MacOSX Sierra. I have upgraded to High Sierra and reinstalled SD 3 on a larger drive. I had created a number of sets on the older drive and saved them off. I placed the sets on this new larger drive. I open SD3 and it loads fine. I then select one of my older formatted kits. It says it loads it up, but the set on screen is still the same and none of my older setups seems to work. What gives?

We tried to do this but even though we designated like channel 1 to all kicks, it still came up to channel 1 &2. OK I get that…stereo…so we set the channels to 1&2 to kick, 3& 4 to snare, 5&6 toms, 7&8 to cymbals. The interface still sent all instruments to all channels at the same time, It got really confusing. The SD mixer was showing separation, but the interfaces was combining them and sending all channels to the mixer with no separation.
