    It’s sorted now.  Bit embarrassing but a plugin on all drum channels had stopped working..   Oops..

    I have traditionally used Superior drummer to create demos for a real drummer to then track an acoustic kit, but I am now using SD3 for my music.
    I like to use The Progressive Foundry, Decades and NYS Vol3

    Actually, just found a solution.

    Open SD3 in Grooves mode, and then DRAG your midi file from your DAW onto the ‘MIDI DROP ZONE‘ area and that will identify what midi ‘groove’ it is in SD3.

    SEE ATTACHED IMAGE

    Or, I imagine maybe this was created to allow users to drap ‘NON’ Toontrack midi onto the ‘MIDI DROP ZONE’ and be able to select a close version from your own midi library.

    Anyway, that’s sorted it for myself.  Hopefully other users will benefit from my post.
