I have SD3 but have purchased only 1 SDX (NY Studios Vol 1)
Unless you are a producer EZX will do just fine for much less $$.
SDX has more velocities and articulation variations, more kit pieces and mic, room tracks.
SDX Are 24 bit instead of EZX 16 bit. (Difference which can’t be heard in a mix)
SDX are huge and take up a LOT of HD space.

DAW: Cubase 14
Hi Mark,
I also use Cubase 14 and true, it doesn’t have an “auto Ripple” but in addition to nudging, you can use Shift and double click on an event which selects all events to the end and move all of them. (:
..All this talk about ripple got flashbacks of Sanford and Son… Showing my age sorry.

Thanked by: Mark KingBrad, Thanks for the tip! Ctrl, Enter works on PC to play from start.
For those and the SD programmers who don’t know what auto-ripple is it’s a feature that is in all DAWs and video editors that automatically moves everything to the left of the time line left or right as grooves are added, deleted, lengthened or shortened.
Can’t believe a $400 program as advanced as SD3 can’t even have a simple feature as this.
I use Vegas Pro and auto ripple’s been around over 10 years long before SD3. ((:
-Byron.
Superior Drummer appears to be a dead product.
No upgrades since 2017?
Toontrack is only upgrading lower end EZ series.
I purchased EZD 3 for the bandmate feature.
I use EZD 3 more on my portable laptop because my laptop ran out of disk space so could not load the SD packs.
EZD 3 is much smaller and does a great job just getting grooves and rhythms and the song creator is identical to SD3.
Hi Jord, Thanks for the reply.
I do not understand. How to dragging a groove part into an existing groove.
I don’t have any existing grooves just the grooves that come up in the Show Results. The results all have shaker next to them. Confused how the shaker works with tap to find and get the MIDI shaker to play.
Kind Regards!
Byron.
Thanks for the suggestions!
@Jordan, I can get a decent drum groove from the EZ Bass midi but how can I get SD3 and EZ Bass to play back Bass and Drums at the same time?
When both of them are open only EZ Bass or SD3 can play.
Thanks again for your assistance!
