Yes! I have never submitted a bug report though. 🙁

It’s not quiet that uncommon. I remember hearing a drum throne squeek at the tail end of a sample on one of the metal EZX’s. Make’s it more real, even though you would NEVER hear it.

Adjusting CC4 information can be done in the CC/Velocity editing of the MIDI editor or the step editor. There’s also the ability to draw in your CC values in either. Custom names and alignment are easily done in the step editor as well. There are many tools to edit MIDI within Logic. My guess is that you have not familiarized yourself with them and are only familiar with the piano roll. Yeah, sure, if you’ve only used one tiny part of Logic (or any software for that matter)( for a little amount of time, it’s easy to say “it sucks”. However, if you found something that works for you, just use it and make music. 🙂

Agreed, I guess I really haven’t put in much effort on LPX’s midi editor because it wasn’t as obvious as others. I am learning LPX on my own and watching some YouTube video’s here and there. In the end, the music is all that matters and on the plus side, since I do all editing in SD3, I can save a SD3 project file separately from LPX for easier import into another DAW.

I would prefer diamonds instead of squares. Adjusting CC4 information is difficult. Cannot custom name or align the midi note role to how I want it. And many more that I don’t even remember now since it’s been so long since I last tried using LPX midi editor.

I hate Logic’s midi editor with a passion. I used to use Reapers midi editor and it was fine; worked as expected and had decent customization. Moving then to Logic, holy #@$!, nothing did what I wanted. So now, I record and edit midi in SD3.

In this case, can you tell us how to reproduce this behaviour? Does it happen in standalone, in a DAW, or both?
I can confirm that the issue with all the notes being selected in a row does not happen in the standalone application but does in the two DAWs I have tried (Logic Pro X & Reaper). I have also posted about this issue here in the support forum and have provided a video of the issue as well. It’s very easy to replicate…

since i updated to v 3.1.3, SD3 sometimes drops out Single notes… lets say there is a 4/4-backbeat with Kick, Snare, Kick,Snare…randomly, a single note is not heard/played, even though the playback bar is over the Note. Left Click on the note makes the normal sound. Do you experience the same problem?
I have not noticed this problem happening at all

I too add my vote to allow you to select the locations of your ALL your presets. I roam between two workstations (Windows & Mac) and having the presets stored on a shared network location would be ideal.

Thanked by: Greg BusbyThe notepad method can get pretty lengthy when you have multiple pieces with several instrument layers (stacks); my kick drum has 3 or 4 in the stack as is! I know it’s an unusual request but I think one that could be handy at times.

Yes, kind of like that with the snare but for all pieces of the kit, in a list type, but in one overall view. Example, if you were to go into the instrument library and scroll through the list, you see which instruments are loaded onto each piece of the kit. I would like to filter just those instruments that are loaded in one view.
My purpose for this is to screenshot what instruments I use for my presets for other people to know what EZX & SDXs they would need to playback project files

So is there a reason why I cannot add an instrument from another library straight to the kit instead of being off to the side? For instance, I want to change one of the SD3 library crashes on the kit to a crash from the Metal Machine library and use the same midi note as SD3 has already mapped. I thought I remember this being in SD2…
**EDIT** I figured it out…
