Red Gear MusicYea, I don’t think anyone is going to be able to help you because I also get the missing samples on those particular instruments.

Red Gear MusicLook at the Hitmaker SDX. There is a reggae punk kit preset that has the Synchronicity album vibe.

Red Gear MusicThe Metal Foundry SDX has a fantastic sticks sound that I used as a count-in for my Volbeat – Shotgun Blues drum cover. You can find it on my YouTube channel linked in my signature if interested hearing what they sound like. 🤘

Red Gear MusicGood idea. But unfortunately all the midi I did in SD3’s grid editor is saved as part of the logic file and not in it’s own file so there’s no way to open it in the standalone.
Ahhh, didn’t think of that. My work flow is to always save a .sd3p file when done with my Logic projects in case something like this happens. I’m even export the tempo map out of Logic and into SD3…
I’ve learned my lessons over the years.

Red Gear MusicHave you tried opening your project in the standalone application and doing your exports there?

Red Gear MusicYour module is most likely sending CC6 information which is positional sensing data for your snare.

Red Gear MusicI was downloading the Hitmaker SDX last night and the transfer speeds were really slow; like 2-8mbps. Ran a speed test and was getting close to 1gbps (my normal speed). It did eventually finish but this was a first time for me getting slow speeds via PM.

Red Gear MusicWhat I do is have two tracks in SD3 that I switch between. A “Master” track and a “Punch-In” track. When I need to do what the OP is asking, I switch to the “punch-in” track and re-record that segment. I then make my edits on that punch-in track (quantize, velocities, etc), then copy the section over to the “master” track. The only downside to this method is you do not hear your lead-in drums, but you can always copy that information over to the “punch-in” track as well. Hope that idea helps. . .

Red Gear MusicUse the Set Current to Default option in SD3. Then when Logic opens the SD3 plugin, it will load your default preset/settings you saved. The save settings option in Logic will load up the plugins, track parameters, layouts, etc. you saved each time you load the template.

Red Gear MusicI agree that additional added instruments should be able to be renamed so that when in the grid editor you know what instrument you are modifying easier.
