Thank you! I tried turning all the bleed controls off, but, I still get bleed in the channels. If I solo, say the snare track with all the bleed turned down, I still hear most of the kit. Maybe I’m assuming too much. I’m thinking if I have the bleed off I should only hear the snare. I know that if it was actually a whole kit the snare mic would pick up the other drums too.
Another question about routing. The original Pro Tools track that has SD3 instantiated on it? How does it fit into the routing scheme?
Thank You👍
Thanks. I’ll retry setting up the whole routing. One question: after the correct routing has been accomplished I should only hear the kick, Tom’s, hi-hat, etc on each Pro Tools track? With absolutely no bleed from other tracks? Only kick on kick. Only hi-hat on hi-hat and so forth? Even on the overhead tracks I should only hear cymbals? Of course, unless the bleed feature is activated.
Thank You!
Still not sure what you are talking about. The midi file resides in Pro Tools. How would I get the midi file into SD3 so I could bounce it out?
if you read my original post, the midi data was triggered by my Roland kit. The midi file is in Pro Tools. I can not find any information on how to turn that midi file into individual audio tracks in Pro Tools. From what I have read….. the midi data needs to reside in SD3, then I could bounce out individual instruments to audio tracks in Pro Tools.
Is this correct? If the midi data is in SD3? Then I could bounce out individual instruments to audio tracks in Pro Tools?
