I just sent an SD3 MIDI file to a friend yesterday who, in turn, loaded it into Kontact. There were some components that weren’t showing up at all, which started our “quest” for MIDI Mapping in SD3.

When I go to the “Settings” tab in SD3, (MIDI In/E-Drums) there’s no General MIDI settings, except for Kontact GM. I have sent him several files with the Kontact GM setting and they still don’t translate to his Kontact software.

Do I have to create my own User Preset for GM?
