Bret VanderhydenI found a workaround – turn on local midi control on the TD-27 module and create a custom kit with the snare cross stick as the only audible instrument. Some tweaking of the snare rimshot is necessary since it’s tied together with the cross stick, but that can be done within the instrument editing parameters. It’s a quick and dirty solution but works pretty well.
Bret VanderhydenHi John – thanks for the tip. I’ll try recording the midi and see how the velocity registers. And yep, I figured SD3 might have the capability to do what I need.
