Within EZ MIX 2 the input and output light up and meter signal, however, within cubase, the Stereo Out meter does not move and neither will the meter for the track to be recorded. The stereo Input meter does show signal, however it only records the dry signal.

I use an M-Audio Mtrack 2×2 interface (without Midi) and these have a knob that you can just turn and blend the direct monitored signal with the “USB” or Processed signal that you hear.

I turn off direct monitoring withing Cubase settings, however, with these interfaces, I think direct monitoring is built in. Could that be what is preventing the processed signal from being recorded/Coming back to me?

I also brought this up to Steinberg, who has yet to respond)

I have put ex mix 2 on the “STEREO IN” bus in Cubase and that is how I see it processing the signal (Signal Meters fluctuate) in real time but when I hit record, i get processed signal back, but what gets recorded is dry signal on playback.

I have everything set up exactly as you say and still no sound. Same issue persists.

Can you give me a step by step on how to properly insert ez mix 2 on the “input” channel rather than the “audio” input?  I am not entirely familiar with Cubase.

    Thanks!

Every other plug in works besides ez mix. I have superior drummer 3 and it works just fine. How should I have the routing set up? Your response was vague and didnt answer my question. Also when I run ez mix 2 as a plug in the effects rack does not open but the editor does. How do I fix the issue?
