When I try a choke in learn mode, it doesn’t register in ezdrummer, so unfortunately, that’s not the solution.
Also it seemed to work with a TD17 i rented for a project last year, so it definitely must be possible.

In the edrums explanatory video, Toontrack states that “Cymbal choking is supported by ezdrummer and superior drummer and should work by default by simply selecting the correct e-drum preset for your module.”
    So it should definitely work.

Hi-hat splashes also don’t work for me by the way, but since I rarely use those, that’s not much of a problem…

I did do a full reset of the efnote module to see if the issue had something to do with custom settings, but that didn’t do the trick…

    Operating system: macOS Tahoe (26)

When you open Logic Pro’s Event List, do you see what efNote is sending? Does it correspond to the mute hit on the cymbal(s) in question?

Are you running standalone or through a DAW? Are you getting an error message from within a DAW?
How are you trying to run EZKeys 2.

Take a screenshot of Product Manager: details of EZKeys 2, blackout the serial number, and post it here.

This is a different issue from the OP you should have started a new thread for it.

Curious how everyone is using EZD 3 live.  How are you getting EZD3 to front of house/sound engineer? I have a mixer next to me. Trying to figure out the best way to get a feed to main board. My mixer is Yamaha MG10.  Macbook Pro M1 Max.  Interface is Motu M2 2×2.

    Inputs

    ch1- external click track

ch2- EZD3 from laptop via audio interface

ch3- band monitor feed from main board/front of house

Should I send a line out of interface to front of house? Use aux send out of my mixer to front of house?

Please be patient with me. I’m new to the edrum world.

    THANKS!!!!!

If you are doing anything in your mixer then use the aux sends, otherwise I would just use the 2bus in EZD3 into your interface and the lineouts to the FOH. Simplifies everything, but either way is acceptable.

Didn’t realaize how old this thread was….

I have SUPERIOR Drummer 3.3.7  is that the same?(Moving the Library-and then he asks?)

With SD3 the process is easier for relocating SD3 libraries (SDXs) as they can  be moved to separate folders, however each SDX must be kept whole, for example, to move the SD3 core library, find the folder SL-SuperiorDrummer3 and move that folder in its entirety to the new location.

Then in SD3, goto the setting tab >  libraries/paths

Find the Superior Drummer 3 row, and use the menu on the far right to set the new location.

While you’re there, check that the row; Additional Libraries….. points to the new EZDrummer location, otherwise, set that with its far right menu as well (requires restarting SD3). This where your MIDI resides for both SD3 and EZD, as well as your EZD libraries of course.

Here’s a link to that part in the manual: https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/9/9-3-settings-2/9-3-5-libraries-settings-tab

EZXs unlike SDXs can not be split up. Before adding anymore EZX libraries to your existing EZX collection you must first: shut down EZDrummer,

Move the sound library folder EZDrummer to it’s new location, the default location of these libraries are usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZDrummer

Once the library has been moved (not copied but moved) , startup EZDrummer, you will get an error message indicating it can not locate your EZDrummer library and give the option to navigate to it. Once you have successfully done that, the next installation will automatically go to the new EZDrummer location.

To add to Jack’s information, if you want to install to a new drive, the installer gives you a Browse, option providing the opportunity to install your SDX to another location. Graphic attached.

I just did this after purchasing SD3 and a new SDX.  My laptop SSD was going to be at capacity, so I purchased a USB-C 4TB SSD and moved my existing libraries and then installed my new ones.   I used Product Manager to set the library path for my existing products AFTER I copied them over.   You have to select product details and then the installation into tab.  I then deleted the copies on my existing drive and it all works.   I didn’t have to go into any settings pages etc.  Not sure about any MIDI since I would have that in my DAW projects.

    Operating system: Windows 11

On your original system there should be a folder called: Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support> EZDrummer

That’s where the Toontrack MIDI is usually stored.

On your original system look for a folder called EZDrummer, it will have a folder in it called Midi and another called Database. That’s where you’re Midi is probably hiding, whether you have EZDrummer or not.
