Thank you Henrik, the original drum Map was creating on Addictive Drums 2.0….

should I create the new one drum Map in SD3 by hand?

I read that I can use EzPlayer pro to do the conversion from AD drum map to SD3 drum Map…

I’ve had dropout issues with my Macs before. (2012 MacMini i7 16g RAM, 2017 MacBook Pro I7 16g RAM) You may be short on RAM, but what really helped me was telling SD3 to use only 1 core processor. That completely fixed it for me. Check OWC.com for ways to bump up your mini without replacing it. I’d love to get the latest since they now can now carry 64 gigs of RAM. Sweet…

    Try the 1 core thing…

    Hi!!

You use Drum-Tec?? Are you from Germany??
If it so, we could talk in German aside this forum via Mail . . . .
What Module do you use for triggering??

Yes, it is possible to put 2 SSD’s in a MacMini late 2012. It’s a bit tricky and you have to be careful, but I did it by myself.
There are some Videos on Youtube as a how to and you need some Special Tools and a Mounting-Kit (avaiable on the net).

If you want contact me for further Infos in german use der.ilja@gmx.de

I’m French…? I use Roland TD-17 with sd3 to triggering my Drumtec edrum and it works perfectly. Do you ‘ve a link for the mount of 2 ssd Drive…I just found a Mac mini 2012 same configuration as yours…Thanks.

The question is, are you using an Audiointerface?
I did and got rid of these problems as i bought my rme interface.
Nowadays I use my TD-30 as my Interface and have no problems at all while playing live.
Are you using SD3 only under Studio/Production-Conditions??

Aaaah yes, I forgot my MacMini Setup which runs clean at the moment.
    I’ve got a MacMini Late 2012, Quadcore i7 2,3 Ghz, 16GB RAM, 2 x 256 GB SSD under HighSierra.
Never change a running system 😉 and it works fine for me.
I also use several other VST-Plugins such as BFD3 or SSD5. They all work fine und Reaper.
This is also a point that is important I think, how massive is your DAW performing?!??!?

I think the key might be the ammount of RAM and how many cores you have.
The SSD’s are just for loading the kit quickly into the RAM. Once it is loaded the SSD won’t be affected anymore, as far as I know.

So far from me and my experiences I have.

    Cheers Ilja

Hi, thank you for your return of expérience ? I use my Mac mini only to run SD3 and sometime I run at the same time Studio one 4 and I use a Steinberg audio interface connected to my Mac mini (UR22 MK2).

For my work in production with my daw I’ve another windows configuration very powerful that works fine with sd3 too…but for some reasons of configuration of my room I need a computer dedicaded to SD3 around my Drumtec edrum.

    Hi, Erik,

Thank you for helping me but the ‘Locate Additional Libraries” folder is grayed so I can’t define a new path for the additional library.

What I do not understand is that the path shown for the library “EZX2_Reggae” is the right path in sd3 (see the attachments) but still I do not see the kit in sd3 … It should appear under what name in sd3 ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

do you have a Control panel or similar for the MDX 16? Please try setting the card’s sample rate to 44100Hz and then start Toontrack solo.

    BR,
    John

Effectively i turn the MDX16 in 44100Hz as you tell me and it works now…
Toontrack solo doesn’t work in 48000Hz?
    Thank you.
