Same issue here, that much info/videos seem hidden somehow on the bottom of the page. In Chrome on a Windows 10 PC. Same experience on an iPad.

EK2!! Can’t wait! If I could be with everyone on this thread right now, I’d raise a glass to the end of a long, long, long wait… this thread started over 7 Years ago, Jan. 2016. Let that sink in. The entire world has changed since then. And now EZK has too! YAAAAAAYYYY!!! (Insert HAPPY DANCE here!)

Thanked by: jazzmandanWow! Finally! AWESOME! Thanks TT! Question: will all our existing EZ Keys midi and instruments bought over the years be compatible with the new platform?

Be still my beating heart. Please, please, please. To mangle a quote from the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz: “I do believe in EZ Keys 2, I do believe, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do believe in EZ Keys 2.”

Thanked by: Mark PetersNot in Studio One, but have run into this in Cakewalk. IIRC, if you’re solely working in EZB and EZD grid editors, with nothing at all in the timeline, the Daw doesn’t see anything in the timeline so immediately stops.

With Grid Editor in focus, press Alt. in PC and scroll in and out with your mouse wheel.

Where do you get high quality, lossless drum tracks separated out from fav songs, in this case Rush?

Hi All Can anyone from Toontrack help with this? I...Hi All
Can anyone from Toontrack help with this? I just bought EZ Keys Studio Grand (sounds amazing by the way) and I can’t figure out how to leave the sustain pedal engaged during both playback and audio mixdown. I recorded a small lick but every time I try to listen back the sustain pedal goes back to its default position. Is there a way to eliminate this?
I should also add that I am a very basic piano player with a cheap midi keyboard and I do not own an actual sustain pedal
Reply To: EZ Keys sustain pedal shuts off during playback and audio mixdown version: 1.3.3

Are you in a DAW or standalone? If you’re recording the MIDI, sounds like you need to adjust MIDI CC 64, which is the sustain pedal on/off.

Solved! I had to insert SD3 as an Instrument Track, NOT as a plugin in the FX rack. Now, all the SD3 Outputs show in Cakewalk.

I’ll look into that. Thanks for the reply.

1. Most basic question: have you engaged follow host on the EZK interface?
2. I don’t use Logic, but you probably need to make sure the “in” on the EZK track is set to your MIDI controller. Or, if you have a separate instrument track (where EZK is loaded) and a companion MIDI track, that the “in” of the MIDI track is your MIDI controller and the “out” of the track points to the EZK track.

I use all these all the time together in Cakewalk. Are you loading each on its own track? Just drag an instance of each into the track pane one at a time, choose the simple instrument in the pop up you’ll see. Should be good to go. Three tracks, each with its EZ instrument. Hope this helps.

Not sure about that, but I use Track 2 (just click the tab) as a sandbox to gather possible grooves (ie favorites) as options in the main track. once you have things like you like, lasso (with click-drag) all the grooves in track 2 and delete.

If, instead of the 16 Stereo channels broadcasted to the host, were a set number of Mono outputs as well, how would you propose they would be distributed? 10 Stereo + 12 Mono channels? 6 Stereo + 20 Mono channels?
It seems like keeping the existing stereo outs and adding a mono out option for the shells (kick, snare, Tom’s) would be a great place start and would replicate the mic setup of a vast majority of studio drum mic set ups. Thanks and Happy New Year all!
