Great question. I have quite a few SD3 and EZ Bass libraries, and only a handful have endings as well. You can create endings by hand in the grid editor, but it can be tedious. For EZK, the original EZK (which I also have) came with a small selection of basic chord articulations such as a “rolling” chord I’ll stretch out to ring at the end. Essentially an arpeggiated root/third/fifth final chord. Or, again, by hand in the grid editor.

The only workaround I can think of is a second instance of EBZ set to the new key that would take over for that new key section before returning to the EZB playing in the original key. Kind of a handoff and handback situation. Not ideal, but…

The tone wheel organ, of which the Hammond line is, was developed to create essentially a portable pipe organ in the way back because they were so massive. I don’t have TT’s pipe organ. But if it has accompanying MIDI, might those performances be adaptable to trigger 3rd party Hammond emulations? Just a thought until when/if TT releases one.

OK… So I now see both the new EZDrummer 3 and EzKeys 2 has this feature now… lol

    Thanks….

Love this feature! Can even create custom part names in EZK.

Would anyone be willing to take 30 seconds to—

    1) drop a few grooves from any EZK library into the song track so the auto scroll kicks in

    2) zoom all the way into the groove editor and tweak a few notes

    3) zoom all the way back out and see if the auto scroll function no longer works

    Thank you!

I can’t seem to reproduce this either.

Are you using EZK2 standalone or in your DAW?

If you use a DAW, what DAW/version are you using and does it work as it should for you in standalone?

I’m using in Cakewalk. I’ll have to try the stand alone.

are you using the mouse wheel or mouse to stretch / shrink the position bar handles? or using the short cut keys? i used the mouse to manual grab the handles to zoom in and out, and if you are using the shortcut keys, there could still be a bug.

Reply To: Auto Scroll not working in EZK2 version: 2.0.1

I’m using the mouse wheel mostly. Then tried the handles. After the auto scroll stopped working, no zoom in/out pathway would fix it. If I exit the project and then reopen, auto scroll worked until I started zooming in an back out.

I really appreciate your help. Obviously, something going on on my end. Helps to eliminate the possibility that it was a bug. It was the first time I’d had to zoom all the way in to edit and then zoom back out and experienced non-functional auto scroll. Thanks again.

Tried to post a YT link but it wouldn’t seem to let me. Search Superior Drummer 3 mic routing on YouTube. Lots of video tutorials  there.

Did you go into a song part where the note velocities dropped? Check the velocity track and see if there’s a marked difference. Lower velocity will result in reduced volume. I’ve found on some MIDI, I’ve had to CRTL-A to select all the velocities and bump them ALL up to get the volume I want.
