I can’t import chords from an EZKeys2 file! I have...I can’t import chords from an EZKeys2 file!
I have to go via midi!!
EZBass only recognizes EZKeys1 file extensions it does not recognize EZKeys2 file extention *.ezk2p.
It seems that the software is not tested! No one can ever have tested to import chords from EZKeys2 into EZBass not even once!
That makes me wonder about the testing approach before a release.
Are there any plans to fix this? And if when?

Hakan, welcome to the pen where customers are herded in to wait and wait and wait. It’s getting quite crowded in here. I’ve been waiting 6 months now on a creativity killing issue that’s also known by TT. See my bump today about how altering Midi notes in one EZ Bass song section also alters notes in other completely unrelated sections. Keep your expectations super low, and be prepared for extended radio silence. 😕

6 months and counting waiting on the fix for this TT known issue.

We can see that our support has contacted you now, and we now also know that there unfortunately was an error in the preset demo playlist causing this. The playlist has been corrected.
Wow Petter… an acknowledged bug fixed in less than an hour. Genuinely impressive. You seem to have the magic touch! Can you please look into this acknowledged bug I’ve been waiting to be fixed for 5 months?
Thank you!

Bump. 5 months and counting for a fix to this known issue replicated by tech support. What is going on???

Thanked by: Richard MarusarzBump. Hello? Why is TT ‘customer service’ like a black hole? It’s now been 5 months since TT replicated this issue and acknowledged this flaw as a known issue. So disappointing. No wonder TT keeps these forums from prospective customers and makes them post-sale only.

Thanked by: Richard MarusarzSadly, the forum is merely a place for us to vent and let off our frustration steam. You should think of it as a relief valve of sorts. TT “customer service” does whatever it wants. Witness this issue, replicated by TT techs and acknowledged by TT as a known issue, that I’ve been waiting for a fix on for 4 months now.

Yes, if you’re working with Midi that’s in the song track, it could definitely be related. As you may have read I’ve been waiting three months for a fix. It’s such a creativity killer.

Thanked by: Chenzo4uMy issue doesn’t involve the audio tracker. It’s a midi issue. I can’t see how they would be related.

Hi, Olof,
This week will be three months since this fix has been in the wings waiting for the next update… how far off is “not very far off”? :-/

Bump. As Pink Floyd wonders in The Wall: Is anybody out there…? This known/acknowledged TT issue from months and months ago is such a creativity killer. The opposite of what music-making should be.

Do notes overlap on grid editor?

Tried out the dummy version to test my “fix.” Unfortunately, rolling back to 1.1.7 didn’t fix my issue where I edit one song block and doing so changes the octave of notes in other song blocks. So frustrating…

Hi. Thanks for that suggestion.
So… i tried this again, and I did uninstall 1.1.8. And 1.1.7 did install. However, after a lot of work in the 1.1.8 version in a project still in progress, it looks like I’d have to take my chances that things don’t get “lost in translation” if I open a project created in 1.1.8 with the older version, 1.1.7.
I’ll make a “dummy” version of the project, keeping my working version intact. Then, open a saved EZB project created in 1.1.8 in 1.1.7 and see what happens.
Thanks for the input!
