Okay, thanks. Tried to remove the mp3 by editing the post since my question was answered, but couldn’t. Sorry about the volume.

Thanked by: PetterHere is audio. As I said, it’s a constant low-amplitude dissonant droning sound, so I boosted in a bit to make it easier to hear. Pale White Shade preset. In the effects, it seems tide to the Mic Control/Lo-Hi Balance. If I turn the control all the way to Lo, it goes away. EDIT: just tried other presets, and it happens on all of them.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll check out the the noise macro when I’m back at my computer. To clarify, this isn’t simply mechanical noise from a slowly rotating Leslie or analog modeled hum, or anything along those lines. This is a constant dissonant tone at idle.

😩 I’m sorry, Petter. I read this thread https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/ez-keys-selecting-incorrect-key-signature/
This reported, and TT acknowledged, issue traces back 10 years, and is still not fixed. I waded into the round-and-round-and-round-and-round discussion/debate 3 years ago in this very topic. Respectfully, please TT, stop mentioning an “update.” Demonstrably is no update. We’re on our own, like being marooned on a forgotten planet.
I’m at a complete loss. What has happened to TT customer support? TT acknowledged a maddening bug in EZ Bass I reported 8 months ago. https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/please-please-interacting-with-midi-in-one-block-alters-midi-in-other-blocks/
i was told it would be fixed “in the next update.” But, no matter my broken-record pleas… nothing still. Don’t know what else to say. 😞

Ballads/Modern Power 67 BPM. Where do I find the metadata? Searching the online manual shows no results. Also, had the same problem in the Country Pop midi collection.

We have fixed this bug for the next update. Can’t say exactly when it will be released but it’s not very far off.
8 months since this has bee fixed but not updated? What?

Wait, what? You’re a TT customer and you can’t access all their product forums? I know potential buyers can’t access them. Easy to see why they wouldn’t want potential customers to look behind the curtain.
Anyone else know of a company in the plugin/virtual instrument space with this level of a lack of transparency and lack of customer response? For those who can’t see the EZ Bass forum, users are reporting bugs/problems with the grid editor; mine is a TT known issue reported nearly 8 months ago, and I’ve gotten no response. Concerning problems are cropping up in EZK2.
I own a ton (Studio One, Cakewalk, Native Instruments, IK Multimedia, Arturia, Universal Audio, Softube, Soundtoys, SSL etc.) and none of them treat customers like this. When TT products work correctly, they’re great. Love what they do. But when they don’t, seems you’re on your own. So disappointing.

Uh-oh. Sounds like it could be related to this TT known bug in EZ Bass, which I’ve been waiting nearly 8 months for a fix for. Users over in the EZ Bass forum are reporting weird behaviors in working in the grid editor too. So frustrating.

This is exactly what I’m talking about in my post: changing grid notes in one section alters notes in another section. It’s a known bug to TT.

Thanked by: Richard Marusarzif you do any other editing in the grid editor, anything at all, after you move your notes up an octave, it’s most likely related to this known bug, which I reported seven months ago, where editing notes in one song block alters notes in another, completely unrelated song block.
I feel your frustration, but sadly, I wouldn’t hold my breath on TT addressing the issue.

Wouldn’t it be so wonderful if they let us know. Anything. This is the least transparent and communicative company I’ve ever experienced. Mind-boggling, really…

Thanked by: Richard MarusarzSounds like the same bug I reported here months and months and months ago. https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/please-please-interacting-with-midi-in-one-block-alters-midi-in-other-blocks/
Toontrack told me it’s a known issue, they just haven’t done anything about it, sorry to say. For a company focused on creatives, it’s an absolute creativity killer. And the lack of transparency on any sort of progress to fix it. So frustrating.

Thanked by: Richard MarusarzFound out how to get folder permission. Still would love to know how this stuff happens out of the blue.
Thanks

Can you share how you got folder permission?
