Scratch my last post…
After trying the same files again, they crash – but not always. But when I reopen them, they work. Still thinking it has something to do with the Pop/Rock midi data. It seems to be the ones that are crashing so far.
I accidently posted as a new topic but here is my findings on the issue
Success! I think…
After carefully looking at which Reaper files were crashing, I found they were ones that I’d used EZDrummer 1 on. I had since bought the Upgrade to 2.0 but not updated those files. When I upgraded my 2.0 to 2.1 last week – crashes on those old files began.
So… I found and downloaded the upgrade for EZDrummer 1 which is the TT106_EZdrummer_WIN_140.zip file. Now those files seem to be working without crashing. One file crashed after updating with it. But I then restarted Reaper and it works ok now.
But still there is the lingering issue of upgrading the Pop/Rock EZX file as it says the existing install is corrupt (TT288_EZX_PopRock_WIN_152.zip). I think I’ve read that when we upgraded to EZD2, Pop/Rock was converted to an EZX product to be updated.
But for now my existing files seem to be working. Not warm an fuzzy but working. Anyone else try this and see?

I’ve attached two dump files: The first one and the last one. Both are binary so no good for us mortals. btw, located at:
C:UsersyourusernameAppDataLocalTempEZdrummerPlease give line by line instructions for a complete reinstall. Some of us only have the EZD2 upgrade which I think forces us to reinstall EZD1 first? Then the midi packs and EXP’s to add. This is really bad news!
Thanks for the uploads! A hotfix for this bug will be released shortly. Let’s hope that you other guys are experiencing the same bug.
Appreciate the help!

Well we all have a serious problem it seems. I too have the same exact issue with my EZdrummer 2.1 upgrades with Reaper.
These are my latest updates:
EZdrummer plug-in version 2.1.0 (build 10421) [64-bit VST]
Standalone host version 2.1.0 (build 10421)
SOUND LIBRARIES
Cocktail version 1.3.1
EZdrummer 2 Modern version 1.0.2
EZdrummer 2 Vintage version 1.0.2
Nashville version 1.5.1
Pop/Rock version 1.4.0
MIDI LIBRARIES
Blues version 1.2.0
EZdrummer 1 Demos version 1.0.0
EZdrummer 1 Pop/Rock version 1.0.0 — This one I read is now an EZX product when upgrading to EZdrummer 2. (???)
EZdrummer 2 Modern/Vintage version 1.0.0
EZdrummer 2 Percussion version 1.0.0
EZX Cocktail version 1.3.1
EZX Nashville version 1.5.0
When I try to upgrade the EZdrummer 1 Pop/Rock version, it tells me my EZdrummer file is corrupted and need to do a reinstall. The issue I think can be tracked down to any files that were using EZdrummer 1 Pop/Rock. Not sure but this is REALLY frustrating! If it comes down to a complete uninstall-reinstall that will suck.

Poked around on the Reaper forum…
It works with Reaper. Found out one must hold Ctrl-Alt as you drag the midi into EZKeys. Very happy.
