    If you want to export from Superior Drummer into Logic without affecting the original MIDI track, create a new track for the same instrument and drag your MIDI there.

     

    Thanks for the reply, but something still isn’t clicking in my brain about this.  When I click and drag to a new midi track, I am missing one of the notes.  It may be mapping, but I am struggling with this.  I am pulling the midi segment from the list of midi grooves that you can audition.

    It seems like I lose the instrument mapping when I drag a groove from sd3 into a track of Logic Pro x.  the midi hits are there, but they are on instruments that weren’t recorded for the current drum set; therefore, there is no sound when the midi note hits the playhead.  I have to drag a whole region’s worth of midi hits to different keys to change the sound.  For example, change from kick to hi-hat.
