I believe that is a simplified view of the midi pattern itself, like what you would see in tracker view. Although you can’t make out minute details, this can give you a visual idea of how each midi will sound, whether it’s busy or sparse, etc.

Thanked by: rabidslothHello! If I’m understanding your post correctly, you can click on “menu” in the upper right corner of the EZKeys screen, then go to “Song Track” at the very bottom of the drop down menu, and in there is the option to “Export song as MIDI file.”
I’m not familiar with Studio One, but when using my DAW, I can expand the window at the bottom of EZKeys so I can see the entire song without having to move the little window, and then I can use my mouse to select the entire song, and then I can simply drag it from EZKeys to a track in my DAW.
Hopefully this helps you a little – I love EZKeys!
John: You have probably figured this out by now, but if you right-click on a midi sequence in your song at the bottom of the screen, one of the options it gives you is to locate that phrase in your library. Superior Drummer does something similar, but the phrase finder in EZKeys is a wonderful feature.

Thanked by: John2 edits for typos and my original post got marked as spam. What I said was:
Hello there! I bought EZKeys a few days ago and am pleased with it. I sat down with it for the first time, then looked up and it was 5 hours later and I had already put together a 3 minute piece with drums, bass, and guitar in my DAW. I also own Superior Drummer 3 and I am convinced that it is the last beating-on-things simulator I will ever need. If Toontrack ever released a keys/synth product that is to EZKeys what SD3 is to EZDrummer, I would buy it the instant it became available. What can I say? I’m a fan :).
What I absolutely adore about SD3 is the meticulous level of detail I can tweak with the sequencer. Is there an EZKeys-related product like that in the pipeline, or better yet, does it already exist and I just missed it?
Thank you for reading this!
