Further to Mark’s post, it is better to map your Maschine Mikro to Superior Drummer than the other way around.
as for your top mapping discovery, Superior Drummer will fire the nearest neighbor in the group. This allows continuity for grooves and external players.

I would lean towards Shootie’s suggestion as the one shot sample will sound rather flat by comparison. The added benefit to Shootie’s suggestion is that you can use a dedicated percussion library and have multiple variations of cowbells along with other percussion instruments.

Thanked by: ShootieI always look at things like this more by the producers of that era, along with their studio spaces. When I’m doing something with more of a tight 70s feel, I would tend to lean closer to libraries like Stories and State of the Art as their recording techniques better match the song I’m working with.
Once you find the kit, it would then be a matter of mixing in the right ambient channels.

Thanked by: Kim MossigeI would probably caution against any type of (un)install in this particular case, for the reason that you could jeopardize your Mac’s ability to see your MIDI and other libraries.
I would first look at the way your PC is connecting to your network drive.

Has the way your PC sees the network volume changed in any way, such as your mapped drive designation?
you will probably want to start from there

If your controller has octave transpose buttons, you can use it to extend the range.
As well, if you’re using Session Organ in a DAW, you should be able to instantiate an instrument with multiple MIDI tracks associated to that instrument.

Thanked by: Johnbee1Not seeing this here. You might need to elaborate on your machine specs.
