It’s hard to tell you where to look because there are many types of basic beats and your post offers little detail as to what you are looking for. The best I can offer is to enter a basic idea of what you’re looking for in Tap-2-Find with Web Shop activated. You can also take many of the existing grooves and scale them down using the Edit Play Styles.
In summary you can copy the groove the source instance and then right click the groove in the target instance and select Paste on Selected Groove and select your kit piece to paste.
