I performed both of your suggestions, and now it loads super fast !

Will test to open and close a bunch of projects back and forth, but looking good so far.

    Huge thanks John.

    No,

What happens is that I can start a project from scratch using Logix Pro X, and it works fine to add SD3 or EZbass. But later, when I open up the same project again it takes forever.
I am not sure if this is only these old projects, where upon creation the path to Sd3/EZbass was different, and is now changes to a faster SSD disc. Or if it’s a common problem. I will try creating a few new projects and see if it still happens.

If I move the path to SD3/EZbass and a project was created using the old path, could that create this problem? It’s like logic is searching for something for 5 min every time, going through thousands of files. And eventually it finds what its looking for and opens up project.

    Hi John

Library is on a local SSD disc and I am not running in Rosetta mode

    Worth noting here:
EZbass and SD3 used to be installed on an external slower disc when these projects were created. Since then I have relocated both EZbass and SD3 to the faster SSD drive.

When the projects finally open, I can see they are pointing to the right path but could this be part of the issue?

    Solved it, I’m an idiot…

I updated while Logic was still open, and didn’t restart after…

Move along, nothing to see here

    I fully agree with Mazuwa

A bit more smoothing, and some finger/string noice would make a big difference. Doesn’t have to be perfect as in the mix you will not notice anyway.

I actually managed to make it sound OK in the end. Not perfect, but ok.

    Let’s hope for future updates.

That helped a bit, still not good enough but better 🙂

@Toontrack, is this the best we can do here?

That is much better than my result

    *bump*

Is this the best EzBass can do in terms of longer slides-ins/outs?

    Or am I missing something?

Interesting, thanks for that. I am starting to think I just THOUGHT it sounded good from start, but that it actually sounded terrible all along.

Then this slide is kinda useless for me, works only for short slide-ins but not for actual slides. Disappointing 🙁

    Thanks for the help Mazuwa

Thing is, it did sound good from start. The something changed (I probably did something) and now it sounds awful.

Here’s the project file. Issue is most noticeable on the slide in at start

This is the best I can do for now, if it will not help I will upload the project file later tonight

And now the Product manager does not indicate that there is an update anymore..

Seems to be magically solved by itself 🙂

    It actually says 3.1.6

    That is odd
