    Hi Scott,

Here is an excerpt from the FAQ instructions – the bold text signifies the steps that were causing my problems. Initially, I was using a WinRar utility, until seeing this FAQ, whereupon I switched to Windows built in
    extraction tool.

“If you are getting an error message containing ‘Error 1309’, this is most likely because you are attempting to run the installer without extracting the downloaded zip archive. Please right click the downloaded zip file and choose ‘Extract all’. We strongly recommend using Windows’ built in extraction tool for this. Please remember to check for updates once you have run the main installer.”

After following all of the instructions per the FAQ, the EZDrummer Lite upgrade installed & authorized successfully, along with EZCocktail and SOLO. This was followed by successful installations/authorizations of my downloaded EZX expansions. Everything is now working! The fact that I was able to get my problems resolved and now have EZDrummer up and running on my PC, on a weekend, is very impressive tech support by any standard.

    Much appreciation, Thanks Scott

Problem solved, located all Toontrack and ezdrummer related files and sent to trash, also deleted files in the library and preferences, last ran the unistaller and it found couple of more files that I had missed.

Next, downloaded ezdrummer and expansions, reauthorized and everything is now working!

Word of caution, This from page 9 of the EZDrummer Operation Manual “The plugin will be installed in the default location for your operating system and should not be moved to remain available to all
users and programs. The sounds themselves are installed in /Library/Application Support/EZdrummer/Sounds/ and cannot be relocated. Doing so will render the program unusable.”

That I believe is what caused my problems. I dragged a folder from the Installer folder and dropped it into the main Toontrack folder in applications.

Just run the installer for each download, and trust the installer to place everything in the right location, touch nothing!

    Thanks, Rogue
