    Hi everyone!

I am new to the Toontrack world 😉 I recently ran into an issue with getting the sides-tick (rim click) sounds to trigger properly using my Roland TD-17 and Superior Drummer. I found a solution that has worked for me – hopefully this will help someone else 😉

Step 1: Adjust your TD-17 Module Settings
    1. Press SET UP on the TD-17
    2. Scroll down to Pad Settings and press SELECT
    3. Choose Snare, then press Advanced.
    4. Adjust the following: parameters (you may want to take a photo of what they are before you adjust them – so you can go back to default if needed).
You may want to play with these settings – but this seems to work nicely for me.
       Rim Gain: increase to 3.2
Head/Rim Adjust: set to 20 (think that is the defalt)
       XStick Adjust: Set to 101

Step 2: Adjust Articulations in Superior Drummer
    1. Click on the Snare in the drum view (it should highlight in blue).
    2. Select Side-stick form the articulation menu.
    3. Increase the level to your desired amount – I used +12db.

Let me know if this helps – or if you found another way!
