    Hi,

if the pads are working with the internal sounds but there is no MIDI notes being sent when trying to Learn, I’d check the MIDI settings (from the manual):

    1.
Press DRUM KIT to go to the Main Screen.
    2.
Press EDIT INST. The top of the screen will show the
number and name of the Kit whose Instruments (drum
    voices) you will be editing.
    3.
Select MIDI (F2). The top of the new screen will show the
    trigger Voice you are editing.
trigger by pressing NOTE CHASE then striking the desired
trigger. Alternatively, you can highlight the Voice (next to
the Kit number) using the CURSOR UP / DOWN buttons
to highlight it and use the VALUE UP / DOWN buttons or
    VALUE DIAL to change it

    BR,
    John

Ok, so I checked the midi monitor per the next reply and notes ARE being sent from the E-kit to the computer on all pads of the e-kit. I have also verified that the notes listed in the Alesis module line up with the notes in Toontrack. For example, Snare Center = 38…both on the kit and in SD3. This problem was the same when I was using the USB cable as well.

Also, the answer you gave isn’t really something I’m seeing here on my end. Are you trying to refer to SD3 or to my drum module? I’m using an Alesis DM10 mkII Pro kit, using SD3 on an iMac, with Big Sur, and into Logic Pro 10.7.4

Attaching a screenshot in case that helps. Or so I can at least be pointed where to go.

    UPDATE:

Switched to a Midi cable and it’s exhibiting the same issues. When I play with headphones all pads are working absolutely fine…just trying to run it into my computer those three pads won’t register. Any ideas?
