    Hi,

The EZbass transition system is not implemented in EZkeys 2.

However, you can create a pitch bend in the values editor in the Grid tab. Pitch bend range is currently set to 2 semitones up or down and cannot be changed (currently).

Click on the “Velocity” menu and select “Pitch” instead. Double-click in the editor to add a node.

I’m attaching an example where an F note is pitch bent up to a G note (2 semitones).

I can replicate the bug! Indeed, in your version of EZkeys 2, the ‘No Transpose’ menu in Key Signature Editor does not work as it should.

This bug will be fixed in an upcoming update. Keep an eye out for updates in Toontrack Product Manager. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the how-to, Fred. Still, I cannot replicate the bug you have described.

It should now be possible to upload project files from EZkeys 2. Our forum had not been updated to allow these. Try again. πŸ™‚

Hi! That indeed sounds like a bug.

However, I cannot replicate it. In Key Signature Editor, if I change a key using the ‘No Transpose’ options then my MIDI and chords remain the same.

Do you have a project file that we could look into where using ‘No Transpose’ still transposes your MIDI/Chords?

Sounds like a bug if nothing lit up when you used a menu to “Select All.” But which menu was it? There are 3 main ways to Select All in Grid Editor:

    * Via Global Menu > “Edit” (top-left corner of interface)

    * Via “Select” button (top-right corner of Grid Editor window)

    * Via right-clicking inside the work space of Grid Editor (context menu)

Which one did you use when Select All did not work for you? I cannot reproduce this.

Thanks for the replies folks. Tried the humanise function but it still sounds meh. I think I may re-do them.

The Humanise function does nothing for timing, it affects how samples are played back to reduce machine-gunning sound.

    BR,
    John

I think you guys accidentally talked past each other. To clarify something in EZdrummer 3:

    • ‘Humanize’ refers to a feature within Grid Editor that adjusts micro-timing and velocity level. I assume this is what Steve Ireland was talking about given the topic of quantization.
    • ‘Hit Variation’ in Settings… > Advanced refers to what EZdrummer 2 previously called ‘Humanize’ in Sound Engine settings. This was renamed to ‘Hit Variation’ to avoid confusion with the new AI-tool ‘Humanize’ in Grid Editor. I assume this is what John thought Steve talked about.

Just wanted to clear this up for future discussion. πŸ‘

This depends on the preset. Different presets use different mixing effects that each can introduce latency to produce a song-ready sound.

You’ll find that the Original Mix for all 3 core libraries introduces 0 ms latency (according to my own FL Studio).

Your reading of 0.14 ms for Main Room is specific to the default preset (Michael Ilbert > Studio Full Mic > Basic).

    Hope this helps!
