    Thank you for responding john,

besides hitting undo, is there another way to highlight a bunch of notes and have them revert back to the originally played time?

Thank you Scott! yes I will make a request. so for now the easiest workflow for me is to record all my takes in logic, then comp them to one midi file then drag that into the superior editor which is far superior to logics form editing. maybe in the next superior update Toontrack can have a separate tab for v-drumming which can stack takes in a folder for quick swipe comping more like a logic or I’m sure other DAW. thanks for your attention, amazing product and more amazing customer service!!

thank you Scott this was very helpful.  Now is there a way for me to make a cut at a particular track/take and have that cut reflect in all the tracks/takes at once? so I don’t have to make the same cut on each individual track/take? and is there a way to have the play head in superior link up through all the takes so when I click between takes the play head isn’t in a different position all the time? thank you for all your help!

Thank you Bear-face! So say I do 8 full takes on different tracks in S3, normally I would separate the logic take folders then flatten and merg all of them with my desired takes. So in S3 once I have my 8 full takes or “tracks, can I make 1 cut so that it cuts all the tracks at once? That way I can audition per say the best fill going into chorus 1? Also I am performing all my takes with V-drums if I didn’t clarify that. Thank you for your help!

Oh, my only experience with the song track is when I drag a pattern to it, it automatically populates a whole song with midi I didn’t play, are you saying I can take the best parts of my different tracks/takes and have the song track be the comp? If so then I stand corrected and superior 3 has it all!

    thnx A

Hi, I’m struggling to figure out a quick work flow to comp my different takes/tracks in superior 3 but to no avail. for now I find it easiest to track all my takes in logic then comp them down to one midi performance than bring that back into superior 3 for the editing process. it would be best if superior drummer 3 can do take folders like logic that way we can do a bunch of takes on our e-kits than comp them quickly in superior 3 and avoid logic totally. I feel this is the only feature missing thus far to properly call superior 3 an “all in” Drum recording DAW, unless I’m missing something of course? thank you!

    best,

    Anthony
