Because the key mapping that is displayed from the UI cannot be exported directly to a file (text) that can be imported into a DAW’s MIDI editor; you must print it…yes! Text as an image even in a PDF! Then you have to manipulate it into text…this is unnecessary and borderline user-hostile.
Thanks for the quick reply, Glenn. That was the first I’d heard about it. I got excited for a moment, but unfortunately that is only for EZBass at present.
