  • If you can’t use the tempo from Cubase in the Bandmate tab, I suggest that you drag the Bandmate groove to the song track, right click on the groove and then select Stretch Notes > 2x (Double Tempo).

Another thing you could try would be to set the Bandmate tempo to 70 BPM, then select the Double Time filter from the Filter menu above the Genre column.

The grid is broken down into 16ths so I can’t see a way of having 6 notes spread evenly over that one quarter note?

Try clicking the Resolution menu button in the Grid Editor tab and then select 1/16t. Now you should see a 1/16 note triplet grid (6 notes/quarter note), if not, zoom in a bit until the 1/16 triplet grid is visible.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Searching straight grooves with Tap2Find in EZD3 should generate similar results to searching grooves with just a bit of swing applied in EZD2/SD3. Searching triplet grooves with Tap2Find in EZD3 should generate similar results to searching grooves with close to 100% swing applied in EZD2/SD3.

I’ll look into this a bit more to see if our search algorithms could be improved somehow.

Anybody knows how to see the midi note for every element and sub-elements (rim, center, etc…)?

Thas has been lost in the new version (at last, where it was in EZD2)

    And EZX pop/rock form EZD1 doesn’t work

Go to Settings/E-Drums… and select Mapping. The mapping of the selected instrument will now be displayed.

    Hi!

If you want to program a standard swing groove in Tap2Find, just select 1/8t in the Quantize menu.

The time signature in Tap2Find adjusts to the time signature of the Song Track. Just change the Time Signature of your EZD3 project and Tap2Find will be adjusted as well.

How can I get the MIDI to a seperate track that plays in the correct position?

    Hi,

You need to import a tempo map from your DAW to Audio Tracker to make this work.

    1. Export a MIDI file from your DAW including the tempo of your project.
    2. In your Audio Tracker Session, select Options > Tracker Session Setup…
    3. In Tracker Session Setup, click the tempo menu and then select Import Tempo From MIDI File…
    4. Select the midi file with the tempo of your project
    5. Close Session Setup and select Add MIDI to Song Track
    6. Make sure Follow Host is enabled

Hopefully this will solve your problem:)
