    Hello,

I have a sort of similar issue, can’t find a FAQ that fits better so here we go:

Background: Just got a new computer, installed SD3 and copied all my kits and MIDI user presets. Everything working like a charm – no issues with hihat triggering at all. Then I tried recording – everything records accurately apart from the hihat pedal.

Issue: When stepping the hihat while recording, it triggers the closed hihat pedal sound TOGETHER with all the open edge and open pedal sounds. However, it only records the closed pedal, so when playing it back it sounds normal.

As soon as I stop recording the pedal triggers the correct sound when stepping. There is also no issue while recording when playing the hihat with a stick and opening and closing it slowly, it’s only when stepping.

Tried solutions: I have gone through the MIDI settings in the module (Roland TD-27) and the MIDI settings in SD3, tried the built in MIDI presets like Roland and generic hihat settings – all have the same issue. Recalibrating the hihat from scratch doesn’t work either.

This happens in both the DAW and the stand-alone version.

Any help would be appreciated! Many thanks
