But what i discovered and what is great for me as a drummer, is rex files : these ones can be played in 3 modes : sequentially, random mode or whole loop… For those who don’t know, rex loops are sound files made as loop files, it could be drum loop, or guitar, or bass or everything else. Each rex file contains more than one sound, each called “slice”, and you can affect one of them or the entire rex file on a beatstation pad.
