Yeah I understand that similar function, I was more specifically looking for EZbass’s “Convert audio to MIDI” functionality. Maybe the mostly monophonic nature of the bass allows that program to analyze and give a mostly accurate transcription, and the more complex chords and melody of a piano can’t be transcribed as easily.
