I am having the same issue. Mac pro running protools 12.6 the audio is correct but the cursor shows an 8th,note late, which makes it almost impossible to write drum parts. The strange thing is it only happens on some sessions, other sessions are completely perfect and I cant see anything that’s changed at all. Very very frustrating.
Ps I have just found the solution for me. It was waves Abbey road mastering chain that I had on my master buss
