    Also make sure whatever kit you are using is outputting MIDI as GM (general MIDI). Alot of e-kits use proprietary MIDI messages for most of their onboard kits that will send erroneous messages to EZ Drummer. For example I use a Yamaha DTXtreme III kit and if I have the module set to one of the “standard” kits it sends tom hits from my hi-hat and sends hi-hat sounds from my tom rims (since GM format doesn’t have sounds for tom rims or as many different sounds as the hi-hat does on the DTX). When I switch the module over to “GM Kit” it works fine, just not as many sounds available (no differentiation between hi-hat edge and bow, no 3-zone cymbals or toms)
