That’s what I figured. However, Superior does have a separate remapping system from the incoming MIDI remapping that will apply to outbound MIDI, but this is obviously absent from EZ3. I do have a license for EZPlayer Pro! I wonder if it will still work on newer systems…
If you open the E-Drums Settings tab, you’ll be able to click on a kit piece and view the MIDI Mapping!

Thanked by: Andi SaitenhiebI see this now. It used to prompt upon import, but now I guess it’s only a separate process! Thanks!

Thanked by: JohnAwesome, I will try this. I’ve only been using Reaper for a few weeks…still trying to get the hang of everything!
Tried that. Tried running in Compatibility mode. Tried granting full access to all keys in the registry to all users. Same error message.
Yes I have. Specs:
Dell Inspiron 518
Pentium Dual Core CPU
4GB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium
I have literally tried everything. I installed the first EZMix numerous times (with current updates), and tried installing both the original and updated versions of EZMix 2 on my account. Literally nothing is working. Even tried to go into the registry of my computer and make sure I had permission to access the key that the error message was referring to. So far today, I have installed EZDrummer, Drumkit from Hell EZX, Metal Machine EZX, EZPlayer Pro, and EZMix 1 with zero issues whatsoever. If someone could please refer me to customer service because I did not spend money to get a product that does not work and to sit behind my computer screen trying to figure these things out for myself. I am not a computer genius.
Wow I should have thought of that. I was using Internet Explorer, but I just switched over to Safari and now it works fine. Thanks for the help!
Yeah it’s the first layer of only the first track. I’ll send you a file of how the beat is supposed to sound and one of it screwed up. Basically I divide my layers between cymbals (Layer 1), Toms (Layer 2), Snare (Layer 3), and Bass (Layer 4). This way it is easy for me to compose my beats and see what all is taking place. However, if I have a groove that does not use any cymbals (as the one I tried to compose did), and I don’t put anything in layer 1, the beat is messed up when I export it.
WAIT WAIT WAIT I figured it out!!!! I was just using the two bottom EZPlayer layers I inserted and not the top layer, but when I move them to the top layer it works!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the Toontrack Solo project saved with the beat still in EZPlayer. If there’s a way I could send it to you and then you could drag it into a folder and see if it does the same thing….this is really frustrating me because it’s impeding my song production.
