I’ve searched for weeks and haven’t found any solution. I have a Yamaha DTX8K set (DTX-Pro module)
In EZ Drummer, there’s some extra notes happening and I haven’t yet found a way to fix this other than removing the note from the mapping (which is more of a bandaid) When I close and the pedal extra notes are triggered. Setting in the DTX-Pro Module are basically stock although I have tried adjusting probably every setting with no luck. I’m not sure what other relevant info you might need to better help me out here, but I did take a screen recording to demo what happens as well as a screenshot of the default mapping when I select the Yamaha DTX-Pro preset in EZD.
Thanks
I’ve tried both “learning” all of the hi hat notes as well as the default preset for my module.
The expectation is the default to work flawlessly though.
Hi,
It looks like your e-hats are generating a lot of unwanted low-velocity MIDI notes. Have you tried increasing the MinLevel in the module for your hi-hat? I would recommend increasing this value until you no longer experience false triggers
