X-TOUCH Mini Hihat conflict.

Hi. Newbe in thus forum.

I have recently purchased an X-TOUCH Mini to control the mixer live while using my TD11KV. I have an issue with the middi note from the X touch conflicting with the hihat. If I assign Pot 1 to a macro or a  fader in the mixer then my highat plays the faders. I reassigned the midi note in the Control software but Superior Drummer still converts it to note 4.

If I use any if the other pots then no issues so I can work around it but I lose a pot. No problems in cubase as I can use different channels. But would rather just use as a standalone live.  Any help gratefully received.

Hey CharlieF,

In standalone, you can select which channel SD3 should listen to from the bottom “tab” in the Audio/MIDI Setup window. Unfortunately, that also affects MIDI CC messages.

The best solution for you may be to download the X-TOUCH Editor from Behringer’s website and customize your pots/encoders (and buttons) to use different CCs. 20-31 and 102-119 should make your controller “safe” in most applications.

CC1, CC4 and CC16 are reserved in SD3 for e-drum “trigger zones”.

Unfortunately i have already tried doing that and no matter which cc I give the Pot, Superior drummer still converts it to 4.

It would be much better if the software could use different channels so multi devices would be much easier to use. Especially as it boasts being able to work as a Daw.

Guess I’ll just have to do it all through Cubase.

The sounds in Superior drummer are incredible though and has completely transformed my TD11.

Ok. Sorted now. Thank you.

I had to change the CC for each pot in the Control software 21 to 28. It now works well and I can use the pots to control the Macro’s to adjust the mike level to the main output as well as the bleed going to the Ambiant bus with one pot.

I have similar problems with my new X-Touch compact.|
Can someone point to the correct download link for this X-Touch Editor? I really cannot find it anywhere.
