WRONG SOUNDS TO DRUMS

I don’t know anything of midi.
I have a 2 box drumit5 set. I hooked the midi cable to my mac.
Ezdrummer opens and loads perfect on garageband, but when I play my toms cymbal sounds come out and viceversa.
What is wrong and how do I fix it? Or where can I get the right info to learn how midi etc works.

Your module on the 2 box sends midi messages thats how it communicates.
Some of them in this case midi notes, usually the rim of tom 1 & 3 don’t line up with Ez, no big drama,
The kick and snare are right are they ?
In your module just go into midi settings and when you hit the “wrong ” ones try and change the midi note to make a sound you want it too.
In a Roland module this is very easy and takes no time and since it is global it will stay until you change it.
It wont/ should not affect the internal 2 box sounds just the ones that get triggered from it.
Once you fix or change them you should never have to deal with it again.
