Won’t Install – MAC

I’ve downloaded the Product Manager and EZDrummer, and I get the installer window with the Install icon. But when I double click the Installer I get the spinning color wheel and nothing.  Does this both on the Product Manager and EZDrummer- I can only get as far as the Installer window.  I then have ‘force quit’ from the menu bar to stop spinning color wheel.

I’m on a iMAC OS Catalina 10.15.7

EZdrummer version: 2.1.8
Operating system: macOS Catalina (10.15)

Hm, that’s unusual. I wonder if a safe boot could help.

The file /var/log/install.log could show how far the installers get (you can open it with the Terminal command open /var/log/install.log).

Also please run this command in Terminal: ps -jax > ~/Desktop/ps_out.txt

It creates a file “ps_out.txt” on your desktop that shows all currently running processes on the computer. Please attach it here.

Olof, Thank you very much. I’m angry at myself because I violated my basic troubleshooting advice – always restart before asking for help…. I restarted and it worked fine.  Sorry for the trouble and thank you!  Jeff
