    Hi,

are you using the Toontrack Product Manager to install?

Hi John:  Yes, I used product manager to install.  It even says, “Ready to Use” with the green check mark, but it’s not in the EZdrummer browser page along with my other Songwriter Drum Packs.  I’ve tried numerous times to reinstall Monster Midi Pac but I’m getting the same results, “The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.”  I’d like to install a couple more midi packs, but I’m afraid to move forward with more purchases until I get this straightened out.  Thank you.

According to your log history you’ve downloaded at the website and not through the Toontrack Product Manager application.

Using the website installers can cause errors like you are experiencing and you will not get the errors if you use the Product Manager for downloading and installing.

Thank you.  Neglected to look in App folder.

I’ve just purchased the Alt-Rock grooves MIDI pack I’ve tried installing from the product manager and directly from the website but still the downloaded MIDI pack installer says “The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.”

Can anyone offer any help please?

    thanks

Toontrack MIDI packs require a Toontrack sampler like EZD2 and S3 to load. I believe that is why you are getting that message.
